Went to the doctor to get our answers

When in the TTC mode, each month is a roller coaster. The up of the anticipated ovulation, the fun of the trying, then the anxiety of the the two-week wait, and it all comes to a screeching halt with that first show of red toilet paper. This month was a little different though. If you take out the trying and insert undergoing tests, then it's about right. There was still the anxiety of waiting and the sudden crash at the end.
The crash this time was the news. I was hoping for some good news like, "take two pills and get on it." Alas, it was not that kind of news. Our news consisted of the, "it's going to be very hard for you two to get pregnant naturally." Well, that's a complete bummer, isn't it? It seems as though the Hubs doesn't have just slow swimmers, but they are not of a very good quality either.
So what do we do now? The doc recommended a Fallopian Tube Sperm Profusion, which is essentially a procedure to put the Hub's good sperm that much closer to my egg. The thing is that it's kind of expensive, and there is a higher chance for multiples. So what to do? I never thought we would be in this situation, but now we are.
